I ordered the gluten free gnocchi, just was delivered a dish with penne. It was clearly gluten free because it was complete mush. Horrible texture, I did not eat information technology, which is why I had ordered the gnocchi. Nosotros did not bother to have it replaced every bit information technology was delivered. From my perspective, it was an awful nutrient experience.

This was the first eating house experience after beingness diagnosed with celiac. The waitress was extremely helpful! Walked me through the entire bill of fare and what my options were. Since it was my altogether, they had someone from the restaurant go to a nearby baker and got me gluten gratis cupcakes! Highly recommend!

Dinner at Al Dente was absolutely delicious. I had the GF gnocchi. Unfortunately, I was horribly ill all nighttime & am still suffering today. I confirmed with both the hostess & server that they utilise fresh water to melt their GF items, but nosotros came late in the night, & I have a feeling they didn't change the water considering our food came out very rapidly. I highly recommend this restaurant, but I do non believe it is celiac friendly.

Good merely you are ameliorate off going to Benevento's adjacent door. That is where they run to go all their gluten free bread items and they as well have pizza at Benevento's which Al Dente does non have (same possessor but larger GF choice at Benevento'due south).

A fantastic GF notice in the North Finish! Although there is no GF menu, almost any dish can be made GF! Staff was very friendly and accomodating. No issues with cantankerous contamination either. Nosotros will definitely go back!

Planned a dinner here for my sisters bachelorette political party last summer, since myself and one other sister are gluten free due to Celiac affliction and wanted a quality repast that would exist rubber. Waitress was pleasant only basically seemed to think that gluten costless = gluten complimentary pasta, with no thought to contamination, even though I verified that food would be prepared separately. I was sick about 20 minutes subsequently eating and had to spend a majority of the nighttime in the bathroom, between bachelorette activities. Very disappointed, will never go back.

I read the great reviews and thought I would attempt it. It is a very small identify. I was disappointed that the chicken Parm was not gluten free as one other person said. I had gluten costless pasta with shrimp -- with a broth blazon of sauce. Tasty. The gluten complimentary garlic bread she had to go next door to get. It was $seven just for the bread-- sparse crust but flavorful. Large portion. Got red bridge beer Good taste. Didn't go sick

I was actually impressed with the service at Al Dente. My server was very knowledgeable. Gluten costless pasta is cooked in separate water. They too have GF garlic bread which is super delicious. I got the GF pesto pasta and information technology was very tasty. I would recommend this restaurant to those with celiac disease, gluten allergies and gluten intolerance.

Very all-around. No GF carte du jour simply willing to set up many items for me. Only pasta was penne but has many plates to get with it and had many risotto dishes likewise. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to brand sure my food was kept separate. Brand a reservation though. Place is small. We hit it just right but others had a long wait.

I was told by the doorman that I could choose pasta or pizza. I chose pizza which was ordered from Beneventos next door, which had our waitress running backwards and forwards (obviously aforementioned owners). My advice if yous desire the pizza just go adjacent door. Pizza is very overnice.

The food was delicious, just I'1000 non overly confident that information technology was prepared in a quality GF environment. The waitress didn't seem very versed in GF. To her GF only meant GF pasta rather than beingness careful about sauces, breading, cooking surfaces, etc. I didn't take a reaction to the meal. I'm not as sensitive as many, but commonly do have some reaction eating out.
