This is an excellent pressing. Swell soundstage, super well-balanced, fantastic separation. Recommended.

This is 1 of the best sounding records I own. Equally in quality of sound. Prissy pressing.

Great album. Iffy audio quality on this expanded version. The mastering engineer has turned downwardly the loftier frequencies too much and cranked upwardly the bass. The result is that the CD sounds muddy and boomy. Thankfully information technology's not brickwalled, like many remasters released in the tardily '90s, but the EQ choices are simply not pleasant. Furthermore, the treble in the left channel is fifty-fifty lower than the right, which makes it sound lopsided when listening on headphones. Yous're meliorate off with the earlier pressing, despite it non having the bonus tracks.

ALLEN: Um, they're okay.

BATEMAN: Their early on work was a little likewise new moving ridge for my gustation. But when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. This is 1 of those albums where every runway, is a proficient track. Really enjoyable to play.

This is every bit skilful as information technology gets for 'fourscore's bar stone. These guys have adult their audio every bit a bluesy pop human activity with tight song harmonies and tricky sax punches.
This 1 is my favorite of the Huey Lewis and the News albums.
